Bürogebäude AachenMünchener
Aachen, Germania
The new headquarters of the German company AachenMünchener was conceived as an urban planning project: a project which saw the Aachen architecture firm Kadawittfeldarchitektur develop the building so that it fits in and harmonises with the surrounding urban space. For this important project, Agglotech supplied its marble grit terrace to cover part of the floors and stairs.

the project
This insurance centre, by revolutionizing its internal and external architectural design, has become a real point of interaction between passers-by and residents, thus also making the pedestrian path between the train station and the city centre, the numerous squares and green spaces more suggestive for the public.
For part of the flooring and for the covering of the stairs, the agglomerate of marble and cement was supplied in two colours, both belonging to the line “Unique”: SB128 Gray Black and SB106 Black. Two types of terrace with very dark tones in strong contrast with the white of the ceilings for a very modern, formal and elegant design. A peculiar characteristic of this line are the small marble flakes that create delicate plays of light in the contrasting cement background.
Also in this project we can see how the tradition of the Venetian floor is able to lend itself with extreme refinement to any type of design, from the most modern and contemporary to the most classic and traditional.
