DB Brick
Frankfurt, Germany
In the European quarter of the city of Frankfurt, between the central station and the exhibition centre, stands the new DB Brick office complex and new headquarters of Deutsche Bahn. For the imposing structure in a classic style reflecting the historic industrial buildings of the 1920s, marble and concrete grit tiles from Agglotech were chosen to clad part of the interior flooring.

the project
Agglotech’s marble-cement products have contributed to making some spaces of the new DB Brick corporate complex unique, thanks to the lustre of the medium-grained marble flakes emerging from an elegant black floor. In fact, the SB171 Nero Venato colouring offsets and softens the excessive brightness of the surrounding total white look, adding a touch of personality to the building’s transition areas. The expressive power of the dark flooring is enhanced by original marble textures that, harmoniously blended, create interesting and captivating plays of light. Responding effectively to the aesthetic needs of designers, Agglotech’s Venetian terrazzo also guarantees remarkable technical performance in areas subject to high traffic and requiring high standards of safety and resistance over time.
