the project
Agglotech created a completely custom material following the indications of the Barozzi/Veiga architecture studio for the Lausanne Museum project. The Agglotech Venetian terrace used for this project is a flight of steps 5 cm thick, particularly suitable for the interior of both small and large stairs and floors. Its very resistant surface ensures long life and is easy to clean.
The museum stands on a total area of over 20,000 m2, near the central railway station, previously occupied by industrial buildings belonging to the 19th century. The Venetian terrace enhances the historical context of the building, but at the same time gives it a new, completely modern look.
