Agglotech was contacted by the designers of the new hospital in Oslo to supply their Venetian terrace to enrich the architecture characterized by a modern and minimal design. The customer identified the characteristic agglomeration of marble and cement made in Italy as the most suitable element for the construction of the floors and stairs of the entire structure.

the project
The SB173 color from the “Classico” line was chosen for the terrace: a mix between a white concrete base and darker marble chips. A color capable of faithfully reflecting the architectural style of the entire structure, characterized by predominantly natural materials and a modern and minimal style.
The Venetian floors have been skilfully inserted in an environment full of light and directly overlooking the surrounding greenery. The color of the terrace is a natural reference to the classic Venetian terrace, revised and updated in a more modern way. An ideal shade to harmonize between the simple and precise shapes of the wood and glass that make up the structure.
The designers’ choice fell on the Agglotech terrace, not only for its dynamic and elegant colour, but also because it is a material for covering large stairs and floors: its resistance and ease of cleaning make it a particularly appreciated material for buildings open to the public such as hospitals, museums and shopping centres.
