Agglotech slabs can be processed in four finishes: honed, polished, brushed and bush-hammered.

Smoothed
ECONOMIC – FUNCTIONAL – HARDWARE

This is the most commonly used finish. It is a smooth, matt surface with good slip resistance (R9 or R10). It is suitable for public and private environments also subject to anti-slip regulations.

Glossy
ECONOMIC – FUNCTIONAL – EASY TO REPLACE

Polishing causes the surface to be reflective as well as perfectly smooth and planar. The polished surfaces enhance the aesthetic qualities of the material to the maximum, but at the same time make it very slippery, especially when wet, so it is only suitable for indoor environments that are not subject to anti-slip regulations

Brushed
ELEGANT – DURABLE – NEEDS NO MAINTENANCE

Brushing (or patination) allows the cement paste of the terrazzo to be excavated through the action of brushes with more or less hard and thick bristles having abrasive grains. The result is a surface with a slight orange-peel effect that is very pleasant to the touch. It is suitable for public and private environments even subject to anti-slip regulations.

Bush-hammered
NO THICKNESS AND GUARANTEES A VERY HIGH DEGREE OF ANTI-SLIP

It is obtained by working the surface with sharp diamond tools that, turning at high speed, remove small portions of material. The result is a rough but homogenous-looking surface that is perfect for floor and wall coverings, especially outdoors.
