A new concept of building and accommodation for the “MONO” project presented by the architectural studios “Note Designs” and “Koncept” for the Glommen & Lindberg company. “Mono” is located in the south-central area of Stockholm Södermalm, a rapidly developing neighborhood populated by young designers, entrepreneurs and architects.

the project
For the MONO project Agglotech supplied, in collaboration with its Swedish partner Svensk Terrazzo-Teknik, a completely customized terrazzo in brick red color with large marble chips.
Specifically, the terrace was used for the internal stairs of the building and for the floors of the common areas, as well as for some coverings of some significant furnishings. The floor made from blocks made in Italy and subsequently cut into slabs guarantees a great variety of uses and applications. The building is located in a still relatively unknown part of Södermalm, which is becoming populated with young designers, entrepreneurs and architects. It is a lively urban context that hosts offices, services and homes. The “Note Designs” studio was commissioned by the construction company Glommen & Lindberg to design a completely unique internal architecture making the most of the available space. Mono’s unique style distinguishes this project from passing trends and standard Swedish solutions.
