Penhaligon’s store di Londra
London – Great Britain
Penhaligon’s is a very old and renowned London perfume house born from an idea by William Henry Penhaligon, an English barber and perfumer who began producing the first fragrance in 1872. For such an iconic brand with a classic style, Agglotech could only produce a very particular terrazzo floor making full use of its wide color palette.

the project
The Penhaligon’s shop has a classic style and finds an important and characteristic element of its architecture in the marble and concrete grit flooring. The Venetian flooring, produced directly in the factory by Agglotech, creates a pattern of three very distinct colours: the SB1000, a bright white which is created by mixing the cement with marble chips coming directly from the Thassos quarries, the SB151, a medium intensity smoky grey, and finally, the SB148 of a more intense grey. All three colors belong to Agglotech’s micro terrazzo line, an agglomerate of cement and very fine marble chips. The material supplied in three different colors was used to give life to a pattern and design in the floor which, in addition to being very personal, also produces a three-dimensional optical effect. This project is a valid example of how the innovative processing of Agglotech materials is worthy of the most ancient tradition of the classic Venetian terrace.
