Private House – Sydney
Sydney, Australia
In North Bondi, a coastal town in Sydney bordering the famous white sand beach Bondi Beach, the Mhndu architecture studio and the interior designer The Unlisted Collective have created an elegant private home by combining predominantly natural materials, thus creating a refined synergy between marble and wood. Flakes of white marble in a delicate gray cement base by Agglotech define the interior spaces of the villa.

SB240
the project
The recognized quality of Agglotech products led the designers to use Venetian terrazzo, chosen in the SB240 Torcello colour, to cover the entire flooring of the living area: a delicate ash nuance dresses the living room and kitchen space in perfect harmony with the surrounding wood panels and finishes. To further enrich the environment with graceful details are the large flakes of white marble, typical of the traditional Venetian seminato. The stylistic and design versatility of the marble-cement material also made it possible to cover the entire bathroom: from the floors to the walls, up to the shower. Agglotech’s proven experience and expert production techniques have made it possible to create, entirely tailor-made for this project, a sink obtained from solid wood processing, demonstrating how the agglomerate of marble and cement can also be transformed into a furnishing element.
