There are four colors of Venetian terrazzo chosen by the international architecture studio Sybarite for the floor coverings: SB100, SB102, SB103 and SB104, all belonging to the “Unico” line and with a chromatic gradation that varies from white to dark grey. The mix of colors has been appropriately combined in order to create particularly refined geometries. The architecture studio identified the reception area and the refreshment area of ​​the shopping center as the perfect place for positioning the marble-cement material. A very important supply of Venetian terrace which amounted to more than 10,000m2 of material, sanded entirely on site.
For this project Agglotech’s commitment was not only to supply the material, but also supervision and consultancy during on-site installation operations. Furthermore, before the final supply, again in Xi’an, a real mockup of the floor was created, in order to show the customer what the effect of the Venetian floor would be like once installed.
An important effort, but which was the prelude to a fruitful collaboration between the Italian Terrazzo company and the Retail company. In fact, Agglotech was also involved as a supplier in subsequent projects to build SKP shopping centers in China.
The SKP Mall shopping centers are known for hosting important brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Prada . The objective of the project was to offer a shopping experience in line with the importance of the brands present. The Venetian terrace by Agglotech proved to be up to the client’s expectations, giving style and elegance to the entrance hall.
The floors obtained from the agglomerate of small and medium-sized cement and grit fit in perfectly in an architecture with an open and flexible space that changes rapidly based on the brands on display, giving a sense of dynamism and depth to the environment.
