Spotify Office
Stockholm, Sweden
Although Spotify has now become a music giant with offices all over the world, Stockholm will always have a special meaning for the company. The Swedish capital is, in fact, the place where Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon created their music streaming service in 2006. When designing the new spaces, Agglotech’s marble and concrete granulate slabs were chosen to clad part of the facility’s entrance.

the project
In collaboration with its trusted Swedish partner Svensk Terrazzo-Teknik, Agglotech supplied its cement marble material to emphasise the refined metropolitan design aesthetic of Spotify’s new headquarters in Stockholm. For part of the floors and walls in the entrance area, the Italian company developed a Venetian terrazzo completely customised to the designers’ requirements. Large flakes of white marble distributed in a grey base with an incisive character reproduce the most elegant of Venetian floors, recalling the tradition of Venetian terrazzo in a reinterpreted, contemporary style. Incisive colours, intense nuances and fine details have met the requirements of an essential yet sophisticated furnishing, combining aesthetic quality with high technical performance that guarantees strong resistance to wear over time, also facilitating daily maintenance work.
