Valentino represents the union between the consolidated artisan skills and the creative tradition typical of Made in Italy. These factors of excellence are also represented in the innovative design of the new Beijing store, studied by Pierpaolo Piccoli together with the well-known architect David Chipperfield and common to all the new stores of the historic brand. The Venetian marble granulate supplied by Agglotech proves to be the protagonist of modern architecture in this shop too.

Contemporary elegance, innovation and quality are the distinctive characteristics that make up every Valentino product. To recreate the same values inside the store, the careful study carried out by the designers led to the choice of Agglotech’s Venetian terrazzo for covering the floors and walls. The Agglotech technicians have designed and created a completely customized marble-cement material for the new Beijing store, recurring in all the new Valentino Stores: a mix between a gray cement base and white marble flakes of different sizes, capable of create a notable visual impact and at the same time enhance the clothes and accessories on display. The slabs obtained from blocks of marble and concrete create a uniform terrazzo surface, obtained thanks to the effects of visual continuity that this material allows.
