SB130 AGGLOCEPPO
the project
Located between Piazza Santorre di Santarosa, Via Bernardino Galliari and Via Ludovico di Breme, the building develops in a curvilinear way on three levels following the shape of the square itself. Aggloceppo SB 130: a very intense gray with marble chips of various sizes and colors obtained from the grinding of the historic Ceppo di Gré stone. The material was used for the terrazzo floors on the first floor and for the terrazzo stairs. Added to this is the terrazzo cladding of the columns on the ground floor and the lower part of the façade at street level. Thanks to chromatic homogeneity and excellent technical performance, marble and cement agglomerates are increasingly used by architects and designers to cover large surfaces. The rediscovery of a historical material and its revisitation in a modern key.
