Stairs to the terrace

The Agglotech terrazzo stairs are synonymous with elegance and color for an optical effect with a vintage flavour.

The stair coverings represent a typical use of Agglotech marble-cement terrazzo.
The production is entirely tailor-made. In addition to the size, it is also possible to customize the type of surface finish:
• honed
• polished
• bush-hammered
• brushed

Agglotech technology creates agglomerate stairs and steps with customised designs and ever-changing solutions. It is also possible to carve the staircase directly from a single block of terrazzo with a solid block work: a beautiful example of which we are very proud is the staircase in the theatre of the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

The marble-cement grit material guarantees absolute consistency in technical performance and, not to be underestimated, excellent self-cleaning properties of the surface. In addition, the material has a high resistance to abrasion and a low coefficient of thermal expansion.

The projects in which Agglotech has provided the staircase Terrazzo are varied and with very different designs and colours. Below are some pictures that need no further comment. Judge for yourself the performance of this material recently chosen by the Tate Britain Museum in London, the Theater Gütersloh in Gütersloh, Germany and private buildings such as the Mono in Stockolma, Sweden or the Grüne Mitte also in Germany. We end with a public building: the University of Bolzano.
