Crelan – Belgio
Bruxelles, Belgio
In the city of Brussels, the elegance of the Venetian marble and cement material supplied by Agglotech has furnished the Crelan administrative building, a well-known Belgian bank with roots in agriculture, with style and character. The color chosen for this project is SB130 Aggloceppo, a color particularly appreciated for its incisive personality and requested for numerous projects.

the project
The SB130 Venetian terrace defines the entire internal flooring of the Crelan offices. The terrazzo surface, characterized by marble chips of different sizes and colors distributed in an intense gray concrete, updates the charm of Italian tradition by giving the environment refinement and modernity. In the entrance area and in the numerous offices there is a dialogue between the essentiality of the furnishing elements and the Venetian flooring which, although it recalls the tradition of the Venetian seminato, reflects a contemporary charm in the building. Furthermore, a “polished” finish was applied to the marble-cement material. This particular process, which gives the terrace a smooth and opaque surface, guarantees good slip resistance, being classified on the R9 or R10 scale according to anti-slip regulations. The light coming from the large windows gives a luminous and reflective effect to the marble grit floors, thus accentuating the typical expressiveness of marble and illuminating the entire structure.
