Kongahälla Center

In collaboration with the Swedish partner Golv Importen, Agglotech produced and supplied its Venetian terrace for the construction of the new shopping center in Kongahälla, in the town of Kungälv, Sweden. In particular, the terrace was chosen for the entire flooring of the restaurant area of the shopping centre.

The important Swedish project saw the property commit to a huge investment and the designers specifically chose Agglotech’s Venetian terrace for the entire flooring of the food hall on the second floor of the building.
The choice to use the agglomerate of marble and concrete had multiple reasons: resistance to wear, ease of maintenance over time and, finally, the chromatic homogeneity that this material can guarantee even when laid on large sizes.
The color identified for this project was SB140 Cà d’oro, from the “Classico” line. The gold and brown marble flakes blended into a very light cement base illuminated the environment, enhancing the elegant and comfortable design of the structure. Style, strong colors and solidity are characteristics that make Agglotech’s Venetian terrazzo a material particularly suitable for large-scale projects and applications such as the Kongahälla shopping centre.
