Lightwell
Taipei, Taiwan
Located in the bustling business district of Nanxi in Taipei, Lightwell promotes the first retail concept store that combines high fashion garments with contemporary art exhibition spaces. On the ground floor, three different colours of Agglotech terrazzo characterise the interior and exterior floor and wall coverings of the store, giving them uniqueness with an all-Italian character.

Refinement dominates the room already from the outside, where the bold grey of the cement marble material in the SB240 Torcello colour covers part of the façade, combining curved lines and angular corners. Here, flakes of white marble reinterpret the natural material in a modern key, drawing inspiration from the traditional Venetian slab, accentuating the personality and expressive power of the Terrazzo. For the entire interior flooring, on the other hand, the colour SB143 Bianco Carrara 25 was selected to accompany the prestigious garments on display with style and refinement. The agglomerate, composed of a mixture of premium marble grit and cement, has a white background and fragments of different colours that give brightness and brilliance to the entire room. Finally, the interesting, coarse-grained mosaic of the SB250 Lido Terrazzo enlivens the shop’s interior façade and the checkout counter with gritty liveliness, recalling the classic tradition of Venetian seminato in the same white colour scheme that dominates the store’s minimalist design.
