Agglotech has designed and created a completely custom material for the floors, staircases and most of the internal and external coverings of the Pozza di Fassa school, located at 1,325 m. of altitude. The project also involved Sevis srl which supplied the particular Dolomia stone directly from its quarries and which started the mixing process. The choice of this particular Venetian terrace made it possible to give light, elegance and modernity to the structure, the result of the chromatic harmony of light tones and the greyish color of the Dolomia stone flakes. The name chosen for this stone leaves no room for doubt: obtained from the rocks in the mountain groups of the Dolomites, it stands out for its very light chromatic tone, which varies from pink to grey. Cutting-edge technologies have made it possible to agglomerate Dolomia stone grit and cement to create a Venetian-style floor totally customized according to the customer’s needs, while at the same time guaranteeing a very resistant and long-lasting surface. The terrace was also worked in two different finishes: a “hammered” finish for the external covering and the steps, while a smooth finish was chosen for the internal coverings and flooring. The “hammered” finish also has an important aspect in terms of safety: approved according to the R11 anti-slip standards, it is particularly suitable for external flooring.
