Westgate Shopping Center

For the construction of the Westgate Oxford Shopping Center, Agglotech was chosen to supply its concrete and Venetian grit terrace in the SB 160 Grigio Carrara colour. Thanks to the technology used for the production of the material in blocks and the subsequent cutting into slabs, the Italian company managed to develop a terrazzo floor tailor-made for the project.

The SB 160 material, characterized by a gray color with small, lighter marble chips, was used for the flooring of some refreshment rooms, corridors and other common rooms of the building. For these areas subject to frequent foot traffic, a material was needed that was resistant to wear over time, and which also reflected the modern design of the structure. Particularly suitable for projects of large sizes, Agglotech’s Venetian terrace proved to be capable of satisfying the needs of architects.
The project, created and managed through a specific and dedicated supply, was enhanced by the harmony of colors and shapes of the Venetian floor.
Color customization and strong resistance to wear are some of the main characteristics that make the Agglotech terrace particularly appreciated by international architects and contractors in projects where there is a need to combine large quantities of material, reliability and refinement in design.
